Steel / words / 2014 / Bow

When She kisses my moonlight,
I hide in burrowed screams.
And I, in my own light.
	Know Her sunbeams.
			My worthless plight of day.
			Her might of play. Taunting.
The Earth bends below Her.
It sings joyed terror.
	And I, in my dance.
	Lurch in acquiesce.
			Stupidity rinses my strength away.
			Down such a gloried fade.
Days of promise seem so far away.
No angels stand near.
	Knocks of wine.
	Colors spin so fine.
			Friends so intertwined.
			And I am so alone.
Greek drawings on the bedroom ceil.
Sore vomit on grayest mills.
	We are dead.
	We embrace the dread.
			The black hallowed set.
			Forsaken, the whitest rays.
Beauty draped with dread.
A friend’s deep daggered breath.
	She smiles a wide birth.
	Such calm, wicked balm.
			She strokes such callous moonlight.
